Apple Shortcuts give you a lot of options to create your very own automations in iOS. I have also tried "group by labels" and had categories such as "Routines, Calendar, Computer, Phone, Errands" so I have it grouped by the areas of life or where I need to do it. This works but if I have a day with a lot of tasks in a lot of areas, it can get a bit overwhelming. Also have tried P1 is one or two things I am doing right now, P2 next in the queue, P3 still important but a bit further on the backburner. Overall this works fairly well and gives me a list I can just work down. P1 are things I am going to do in the morning, P2 happens midday, P3 happens maybe afternoon or evening, and p4 is less pressing stuff. I tend to use "group by priorities" and use priorities to organize the things I take on first. I normally just take things a day at a time and live mostly in the today view. In a sense this No Date section acts as my inbox, and then everything scheduled will just pop up on the day I need to think about it. I have a filter called "No Date" and have a weekly task to review this and see if any of these tasks could be scheduled. Is this something the app can provide if I subscribe? Something that would “wake me up” at the moment and keep me going and just visuals are not enough. I have tons of calendars and sticky notes everywhere for reminders but I was looking to get something else. I need an app that can synch with my Apple Watch and that would send me physical notifications (vibrations, sounds) that would catch my attention to get what I need to do in life done. I think I need to be a subscriber to have them :/ I googled how to set the reminders but the option doesn’t show on my app. I’ve downloaded it a few weeks ago with the hope of try it (so I don’t want to subscribe unless I see this is what I’m looking for) but now I got to the realization that I have gotten 0 notifications from the app. From the More menu, you can also duplicate, archive, delete or change labels (contexts). So if you include a filter and ids, then only the filter will be used, if you include ids and project_id, only ids is used, and so on. When fetching a list of tasks, the API will do so in the following order: - filter (with or without lang ) - ids - label_id / project_id There are other limitations too, this is from their documentation: I am not a Todoist premium user so can’t create any to test with but would assume that they are just a collection of built-in filters. I have had a look at the documentation for getting tasks using a filter and as far as I can see you can’t filter by user defined filters. ![]()
